EVHS Booster Club

~The East Valley School District is not involved in the operation of the Booster Club~

What is Booster Club?

The EVHS Booster Club is a volunteer based parent/guardian group operating  under a non-profit, tax exempt status.  The Booster Club helps facilitate planning & fundraising activities for extra-curricular clubs and sports at the high school.

Who can join?

Anyone can join EVHS Booster Club.  If you are over 18 years of age and would like to positively impact students while helping fund and facilitate our great clubs and athletics, we need you!

Where does the money go?

The funds raised through the Booster Club provide items such as uniforms,  practice gear,  equipment,          transportation and much more.  Booster Club funding is crucial to our clubs, filling gaps left by district and ASB funding.

When should I join?

Join ASAP…..Booster Club funding is based on parent/guardian enrollment.  Booster Club requires 40% parent participation (if a Club/Sport has 50 students, 20 parents are needed for Booster Club support).  More booster club members equal more funding and greater success for our students!  Earning opportunities take place ALL year, don’t wait until the spring season!

How does enrollment work?

Parent/Guardians are asked to pay a yearly enrollment fee ($12 per person or $20 for 2 parents).   Yearly      fundraising will be distributed according to member designated club/sports and volunteer participation.  Parents can designate multiple sports/clubs to support.  CLICK HERE FOR ENROLLMENT FORM

How do I help?

There are a number of ways to volunteer for the EVHS Booster Club.  Members are asked to attend meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month @ 6:00pm.  Volunteer opportunities will include:

Working the food & snack concession stand throughout the school year

Helping organize, participate, and attend the annual EVHS Booster Club Auction

Selling raffle tickets & attending club/sports activities

 Participating & promoting Club/Sport fundraisers

Who runs the Booster Club?

The Booster Club is managed by an elected group of volunteers.  Enrolled members are eligible for executive   positions and will take part in yearly elections.  Enroll today and join us!

Booster Scholarships

The East Valley High School Booster Club offers scholarships to seniors every year.  Kaiser is generously funding an extra scholarship this year so we have four $1000 scholarships to award!  The scholarship application is ready and attached to this email.  There are two formats available.  One in Word that you can print out and fill out by hand.  A second option, if you have Adobe Acrobat (just Reader will not work), is a document that you can fill out on the computer.

Due to school closure it will not be possible to turn in completed applications at the high school.  Students may scan and email completed applications to knightboosterclub@gmail.com by April 24.  A second option would be to mail completed applications, postmarked by April 24, to:

East Valley High School Booster Club
PO Box 15201
Spokane Valley, WA 99215

We understand that there may be some difficulty with getting transcripts due to the closing of school.  Please allow plenty of time to email your counselors or call the school office, we are not sure how often staff will be in the building.  Booster Club will be flexible if necessary with the transcript requirement and will find a way to verify GPA's, but all other parts of the application must be submitted by the April 24 deadline.

Booster Fundraising

EVSD Booster Club is able to assist member enrolled clubs at the East Valley High School with fundraising.  Clubs are able to fundraise under the tax exempt 501-C3 status, and can be assisted by members of the group.     Booster can help advertise and even create an E-commerce location on the Booster WEB STORE page.  To begin the fundraising process, please contact:
