Running Start

Running Start is a college credit program allowing junior and senior students the opportunity to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. Local colleges participating in this program include:

Cost: The college classes are offered tuition free. Students are responsible for books, school fees and transportation.

Program: A student can enroll in a maximum of (15) credits per quarter. In addition, students may attend classes at the high school and participate in all school activities. Students interested in the Running Start program should check with Student Services for details and applications. Running Start students are responsible for obtaining information listed in the high school daily bulletin (available on the EVHS web site) and for checking their file in the Counseling Center.

Culminating Projects: All Running Start seniors are required to complete and present a Culminating Project.
